KwaTerry Traditional Restaurant
KwaTerry Traditional Restaurant is a unique rural dining experience located in Turf, Mhondoro Ngezi (Village 6), just a few kilometers from Zimplats Mine and approximately 150km from Harare. Founded by Terry, a passionate farmer and visionary from the village, KwaTerry is more than just a place to eat — it's a movement rooted in tradition, farming, and rural pride.
At KwaTerry, we serve authentic traditional Zimbabwean cuisine, made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients—many of them grown by Terry himself on his nearby farm. From roadrunner chicken, maguru, and goat meat to classic sides like sadza, mufushwa une dovi, and more, each dish is prepared with heart, heritage, and the warmth of home.
But KwaTerry isn’t just about food.
We are proud to be part of a growing Rural Tourism initiative, offering visitors a chance to experience the beauty, simplicity, and hospitality of rural Zimbabwe. Whether you're traveling from Harare, Bulawayo, or Masvingo, a visit to KwaTerry is a chance to reconnect with culture, nature, and community.
